Absolute legend Patti Smith paid the Twin Cities a visit tonight. I put Dancing Barefoot on a mix cd (yeah, I’m that old) I made for D while we were newly dating and have always considered it “our song.” I couldn’t help but weep when Patti performed it tonight, sitting there in awe, next to my Love! I’m so lucky!
