Türkiye has completed the first export of a warship in its history to a NATO and European Union member state, after ASFAT signed a contract with the Romanian Ministry of Defence for an offshore patrol vessel (OPV).

Türkiye Exports Denizhan-76 Naval Gun to Romania in NATO First

As part of the export of the patrol ship TCG Akhisar to the Romanian Navy, Turkey’s MKE Denizhan-76 National Naval Gun Weapon System has entered the inventory of the Romanian Armed Forces, Turkish officials said.

With this delivery, Denizhan-76 became the first 76 mm domestically developed naval gun to be operated by a country that is both a NATO and European Union (EU) member.

FGN-100-D2: Türkiye’s New Satellite Strengthens National Space Network

Fergani Space’s second domestically developed satellite, FGN-100-D2, has successfully begun its mission in space. The satellite was launched on November 2, 2025, at 08:09 (Türkiye time) from the Cape Canaveral SLC-40 Base in the United States as part of SpaceX’s Bandwagon-4 mission.
