Hello! Just a person who has avoided social media all their life deciding to finally pick up the 'good' one. I like #architecture, #trains, #maps, #flags, and all that good stuff. I also make #animation videos on my YouTube channel of niche-ish podcasts.

I am shocked by my poll that 40% responded they dont like buying online and perfer in person stores?

we obviously did not have the same covid experience. I don't even like going to my mailbox for fear of running into one of those 'people' things that wander about. obligatory happy face : )

Business fables rule.

Personality tests remain among the most widely used tools in hiring and therapy despite decades of research showing limited ability to predict how a person actually behaves

Personality tests are taken by an estimated 60 to 70 per cent of job applicants in the United States who reach a certain stage in the hiring process. They are administered in clinical settings, used in couples counselling, distributed at corporate retreats, and taken voluntarily by millions of people every year who want to understand [โ€ฆ]

I'm making a note here: HUGE SUCCESS

JUST IN: Trump bought up to $5 million of Axon stock.

Two weeks later, ICE moved toward a $220 million Taser deal.

Axon makes Tasers. Axon also controls 90% of the US Taser market.

And the White House says there are โ€œno conflicts of interest.โ€

Politicians should not be trading individual stocks while the Government is handing out contracts.

Public office should be public service.

It's pretty crazy that insider trading is illegal for everyone except the people who make the laws.

This is another favourite paper: all but one of the 30 authors is 9 or 10 years old, the other is their primary school teacher. But it's a legitimate paper, refereed and accepted by a journal, about what bees remember. The crayon diagrams are awesome.

(Or just search "Blackawton bees" if the link is being glitchy)

Blackawton bees - PubMed

'We discovered that bumble-bees can use a combination of colour and spatial relationships in deciding which colour of flower to forage from. We also discovered that science is cool and fun because you get to do stuff that no one has ever done before. (Children from Blackawton)'.

@Strandjunker

Their constant fear is what makes them Republican Nazi pedo gutter scum who always punch down.

Bravery is never proven by attack. And they are trained to attack everything before they might understand it. Or else they might have to accept it. Ignorance is Republican.

Trump. Is. Toxic. ๐Ÿ‘‡

Mandating age verification "effectively hands Big Tech and the government a skeleton key to the identities of every whistleblower, dissident, and investigative reporter who uses online platforms," FPF's Caitlin Vogus and Aliya Bhatia write in The Intercept.

Online Age Verification Law Could Kill Whistleblowing

The KIDS Act, ostensibly aimed at protecting children, will raise the risk for journalists, dissidents, and whistleblowers.
