I was in a random incident yesterday where I ended up being physically assaulted by a man. I am okay physically, mostly bumps, scratches and a few gnarly bruises. The man was arrested.
Emotions so far: fear, violation, sadness, worry, confusion, helplessness, embarrassment, diminished.
I am fully cognitively aware that this was completely random, but at the same time I don’t feel safe. I look forward to the angry stage.
Bishop Swan is on my list of favorite Christians in America.
As for the white evangelicals he talks about in this quote, I offer another quote: “Your boos mean nothing. I've seen what makes you cheer.”
