What the actual hell?
@slims Yep, one of the biggest problems I had with it initially was if I tried to brute force as MANY LESSONS AS I ALREADY KNEW, it meant that the reviews piled up way more than I was comfortable doing at a time/day. Like, I want to learn, but I'm not sitting down and doing 200+ reviews in a session.
Now that stuff has slowed down again I'm doing 5 lessons a day plus the relevant reviews; up 50 a day, usually about 30, and it's a lot more manageable. Is it slower? Sure. But it fits my schedule and mental capacity a lot better.
It's honestly already been helpful for me, reading nonsense shit like RocketNews haha. Beyond guessing at meanings based on the kanji I know, I"m also able to guess at readings and be right like 50% of the time!
@slims I'd like this if ONLY because my day-to-day support work means I have about literally zero time for documentation or process building. Being able to work while our "main" system is shut down (K-12 district) would be incredibly helpful just from a concentration perspective.
We've recently been asked to review a bunch of NIST documentation to align our internal policies with and, bluntly, several of us have said "With what time?"

Please tell me this is a THEY HAVE PLAYED US FOR ABSOLUTE FOOLS meme?
Because if not, I DEMAND a refund for this goddamn century (it is brain-damaged, probably from hitting itself in the face with a hammer)
I don't know what made me add The Catcher in the Rye to my library holds a few months back but now that it was available and I've read like 10 pages... Jesus fuck. This is -unreadable-. Straight stream-of-consciousness type reading that's like the worst of the internet to me.
I don't even know if I'll make it to any main point, because the topics switch like 3 times per paragraph and at that point I'm already mentally checked out of caring about ANY of them.
I get WHY it's written like this, but fuuuuuck it's just a chore to read.
