’Twas the night before @GrrCON and all through the net,
Not a danger was missing, no password was set.
The hackers were dreaming of data to steal,
And laughing at captchas designed to be real.
Their badges were blinking, their laptops aglow,
With fresh CTF puzzles and banners in tow.
When out on the WiFi there came such a ping,
They sprang from their beanbags — “Let’s do our own thing!”
With exploits and payloads, the room came alive,
And nobody’s printer was left to survive.
So here’s to the hackers, the coders, the crew:
Happy GrrCON to all, may your root shells come true!
The myth: if you haven’t made it by 30, you’re finished.
The truth: you still have decades to do your best work.
