While the security sensors in TROPIC01 are effective, our evaluation did uncover vulnerabilities, highlighting the need for a stronger defense-in-depth strategy.
We value the transparency shown in publishing the evaluation report and documenting both findings and mitigations.
What does it take to assess the real-world resilience of a secure element?
In collaboration with Tropic Square, COSIC performed a security evaluation of the #TROPIC01 secure element against advanced fault injection techniques, including voltage (VFI), electromagnetic (EMFI), and laser fault injection (LFI).
