Last weekend, Big Red athletes had their first chance to play on Cornell's newest toxic playing field.
With this field Cornell is propping up the fossil fuel industry's latest death project: increasing plastics production. The "useful life" of this field will be 7-10 years; together with thousands of other plastic fields, its toxic legacy will last forever.
