Hi! I’m Tami Mize and I run ConferenceKeeper.org, a free online calendar of thousands of genealogy events being offered by societies, libraries and genealogy businesses from around the world. Events include webinars, classes, seminars, conferences, and much more. Our mission is to connect individuals seeking genealogy education with those providing such opportunities. Genealogy ConferenceKeeper.org, Inc. is a 501(c)3 charitable organization.

@david Thank you for the reply. I dislike spam immensely, and here on Mastodon just share a few interesting and relevant genealogy events (folks can go to the website to see all the events if they'd like at any time). I don't sell anything, nor am I paid to promote anything that I do mention. (Heck, I'm not paid at all, lol) I run ConferenceKeeper in a way that I would want to see and use myself. I'm always open to suggestions AND criticism. Thank you again. I'll be moving over soon :) - tami

@david I'm considering moving my instance to Genealysis but want to be sure that my sharing genealogy events wouldn't violate TOC as "commercial advertising or promotional campaigns" ConferenceKeeper is a non-profit organization and a completely free service that exists to share genealogy information, primarily about upcoming events -- conferences, webinars, etc. (helping educatees find educators). Thanks in advance!

I'm sad :( I've been given a notice that my account has been tagged "limited", and I honestly don't know why. I submitted an "appeal" but I'm not even sure what for. If anyone has any insights as to how I may have misbehaved, I'd appreciate it.

One thing I love about being on Mastodon is introducing the ConferenceKeeper.org free calendar of events to a worldwide audience. Anyone can submit genealogy events for inclusion on the calendars - it's completely free. The calendar is totally free to use also - plus there are many pages with additional useful information: Calls for Papers, Podcasts, YouTube Channels and more (look under the "Other Events & Opportunities tab at the top). www.ConferenceKeeper.org
