Today’s update: they may fear Mr. Swan, but they have zero fear of this human.

The flock continues to cohere in the face of Mr. Swan’s controlling nature. He’s constantly corralling them, pushing them to the water’s edge. If you look, he’s always just off in the distance. Images from this weekend.

The geese have found strength in numbers. G5 meets G6.

That’s right. There are six goslings!!!! Six, not five. At first I thought perhaps they had adopted a stray gosling…? But then I saw a second family (G5). I think G6 are new arrivals. There are now two families of geese at the res. Mr. Swan will not be happy.
