UN Mappers Mapathon at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad - JNTU Hyderabad 🇮🇳

On 18 March, our #UNMaps Community Ambassador, Pawan Muddu, led a #UNMappers mapathon at JNTU Hyderabad in India. Together, we mapped buildings and settlements 🏘 in forest fire–prone areas of Adilabad district, Telangana, to support identification of vulnerable communities, improve fire risk assessment, and enable better emergency response planning.

Now that he's diversified into all home and kitchen appliances, he's just reading off the spec sheet, "reviewing" just one product of a kind (whatever he's bought for his home) and just asking us to use his affiliate links to buy products.

I realize money (& review samples) are hard to come by, but if you're just reading specs and boasting about how the product you've bought is the best, without comparing it to competition or even why you've zeroed in on that model, you lose credibility.

Its unfortunate that a Youtuber I once followed has succumbed to enshittification. Vineet Malhotra (youtube.com/@VMone) used to provide unbiased insights into the TV industry and educated users on what to (and what not to) look for when buying a TV.
