Do you have experience implementing passkey authentication on your organization’s website or network? Have you supported the use of passkeys for end users? Have you spent time testing the way passkeys sync/work across platforms (Apple, Windows, etc.) or on different sites that have rolled out this new authentication paradigm? If so, I’m eager to speak with for an article I’m working on. Please DM me on Signal (DanArs.82) or (if you must) DM me here. Please boost for reach.

I think #cybersecurity #insurance is a fascinating topic. So much so, that I periodically create news roundups about it.

If I may say so myself, this edition is chock full of interesting articles. Read about a guide defining "major cyber events" and more!

Tonight is also the first time we’ll use electronic voting in Town Meeting. With 25 minutes before TM starts, there’s a large percentage of retired folks. We’ll be voting on two warrants that specifically affects them. We’re voting on preliminary funding for the most expensive high school in Massachusetts AND limiting tax raises on seniors. The school is projected to cost each household $2200 per year for the next 30 years
Watching actual democracy in action is weird. Live in the Boston suburbs where many things are still managed by town meeting. 35k residents and we’re going to shove a few thousand folks into the gym for voting. One warrant up for discussion is a non binding vote to consider eliminating town meeting. While the idea of town meeting is very democratic, in practice it very much is not. I’m voting, but not my wife as someone needs to watch the kids. Folks working anything outside 9-5 aren’t voting. Time for change
