My #FoggyFriday contribution is from December 2024 when my son and I walked part of the South Downs Way in the cold, fog and wind. It was amazing even though we were very worn out at the end of the day.

Did you know that you can start the Camino de Santiago in the UK? It's called the Camino Inglés and runs from Reading to Southampton.

Went for a walk today as the rain didn't come so I figured I might as well. Made the mistake of not taking my allergy pills beforehand, so now I feel like I've been crying all day. Red, itchy eyes and a snotty nose...just fab 😕. The route wasn't great either, with lots of road walking which is so unnecessary, as we have so many footpaths around here. Nevertheless, it was a good 17km and it did have some lovely bits so I can't complain too much.

The weekend was lovely. Husband really enjoyed the Jurassic Classic and made good time (for him). I enjoyed my walk, especially since I happened upon the cutest little church.

Showing off my sweater for #MeMadeMay. It’s the first garment I’ve crocheted that I’ve actually wanted to wear. I quite like it. It’s crocheted in the round so no seams.

Had an absolutely lovely walk yesterday. The weather wasn’t fantastic - cold, windy with some rain - but I was finally able to walk without rushing or worrying about making good time. I just enjoyed the scenery, did some side quests, spent a lovely half hour sitting underneath a tree overlooking a field and sang in some old churches. It was just what I needed.
