It's been a crazy busy and emotionally draining couple of weeks starting with RCI hearing, then the fallout from that. Taking up the offer of more counseling as think it might be the time for it.

Also doing Christmas prep for promotions of the town i'm writing the early history of, for the upcoming 150th... with having made up their 2023 calendars, but they are selling well. AND, got funding for my two community projects... So can be proud of that at least. Lets hope next year's less stressful!

#Righto world... Time for me to put my big girl panties on, buckle up and do some mahi (work), despite being in agonising pain today, with a fever, not sure what's u, potentially another underlying infection knowing me being immunocompromised. While catching up with y'all has been a marvellous distraction, it achieved nothing practical, except improvement in my MH, so kia ora for the engagement. Plus Panda cat is bored & needs a lap to lie on before even more mischief!

It is makariri (cold), all the curtains are closed and Panda 🐼 Cat🐈 is NOT amused. She is extremely territorial so can't see out to protect her domain. She KNOWS she is not allowed in curtains to destroy the baby plantlings, and yet... The snap of her doing "oh shit you've seen me, now what do I do" is most hilarious!

As long as she stays away from the plants I've now compromised to letting her lie beside them #SheRules #QueenCat

#CW #VegeterianFood For anyone on a #FoodBudget this is one of our mainstays: homemade gluten free (have a coeliac in the house) #BostonBeans but without the meat! Costs approx $10 for a huge pot that does 6-8 adult meals alongside extras. We have beans on toast with egg, beans with mashed potato, my makau who eats meat has beans with sausages, I have beans with broccoli if I have any in the garden or it's on special ($1.50 head at Countdown here this week!) I'm happy to post recipe if asked to.

Looks like a day to be in moenga (bed) with my ngeru (cats) but alas .. mahi must be done, many deadlines looming. So, will either have to do something I try to always avoid (put wee gene on for some power) or find something else to do on this dark dismal day BRRR!!
