I remember D and Enemy Zero having PC ports. But due to the poor cross-system knowledge at the time, it was difficult to figure out what they were. Many didn't even understand they were Japanese games, and when Enemy Zero was released, the concept of "Kenji Eno trilogy" was just alien. Most didn't know it was a sequel to D, nor even a Saturn port, and due to its very late release, it got a poor reception.

According to Mobygames, it's an original mix, mostly an urban dungeon crawler RPG but the fights are classic side-scrolling action. An interesting choice.
