And then here is me looking ahead at what I'll be doing in 2023 and the practices involved. It's all about transitions.

Composting work.
Moving resources.
Staying with the trouble.
Tending to new soil.

What I mean by those things and who I'm doing them with, is here > https://cassierobinson.medium.com/becoming-2023-some-of-the-things-ill-be-doing-this-year-940ce5bf72be

Becoming 2023 – some of the things I’ll be doing this year.

My previous blog, where I reflected back on my work in 2022 was so long it became a good reminder of why I should begin writing more regularly again, rather than a huge download at the end of the…

Earlier in the week I wrote a blog post looking back on my work in 2022 - working across Joseph Rowntree Foundation, Active Philanthropy, Partners for a New Economy, Impact on Urban Health and Power to Change. Some thank you's in there too, for all the people that had my back last year. https://cassierobinson.medium.com/my-2022-and-what-this-means-for-my-2023-95ba8bdf26d
My 2022 and what this means for my 2023. - Cassie Robinson. - Medium

Throughout the year people have asked me “How’s JRF going?” or “How’s Power to Change going?” — I’m not sure people have realised the way I’ve been spread out this year. What I’ve loved is being able…

Was lucky to see this yesterday - https://emerge.asu.edu/2022/exhibits/outdoor-film-screening-gather/ - beautiful film about "the growing movement amongst Native Americans to reclaim their spiritual, political and cultural identities through food sovereignty, while battling the trauma of centuries of genocide."

A #LossAndDamage fund *finally* agreed at #COP27 - https://climatenetwork.org/2022/11/20/landmark-decision-at-cop27-to-set-up-loss-and-damage-fund/

31years ago #Vanuatu - on behalf of the Alliance of Small Island States (AOSIS) - proposed funding for #LossAndDamage to the countries most impacted by rising sea-levels. It was blocked & delayed by those most responsible for climate change for decades.

The #LossAndDamage facility exists because of those who wouldn't give up. Celebrating them today. And - no doubt - the fund needs to be fought for every step of the way.

Landmark decision at COP27 to set up Loss and Damage Fund   - Climate Action Network

Civil society groups welcome fund as a first step to rectify injustice to those suffering disproportionately from climate devastation, especially in the global South.  20 November 2022, Sharm-el Sheikh: Today in a long overdue decision, three decades in the making, all governments at COP27 agreed to set up a Loss and Damage Fund. This is […]

"experience arises relationally, through forces and their capacity to move in resonance across different registers of existence. Experience always comes as an ecology of relation."

Listening to a wonderful talk by Allie E.S Wist at Anticipation conference on Taste + Smell as haptic world-building + world knowing.

About to give a talk at https://anticipationconference.org/ and trying out some new slides, sharing more about the materials of imagination infrastructure and the sites for collective imagination.
#imagination

If I'm giving this a go, then I'd love to connect with new people (as well as keep in touch with old!).

Wondering how I might find others who are working in or care about -

Prepping my slides for #Anticipation22 and re-reading my copy of The Dreaming City: Glasgow 2020 and the Power of Mass Imagination, back in 2007 when @MelissaMean and others did a city-wide collective imagination programme.

Wondering who else is here that is doing work on #imagination? Especially temporal imagination, civic imagination, collective imagination....
