As a former developer, I’m primarily focused on offensive Application Security nowadays. Currently building some things in C++ and Qt as I enjoy desktop development as a break from the state of the modern web.

From an island in Maine. The rainbow lasted for almost an hour.
Actually our second yield from the original plant.
Going to experiment a bit here. I cut a lot of these back quite a bit. We’ll see how they do! They should grow back bushier than before which will make for a much greater yield then otherwise.
Beautiful day to propagate a store bought basil plant. $4 for a basil plant, which is actually about a dozen basil plants. You need to separate them and repot. The small ones I’ll clean up and let root more while the bigger ones I’ll trim back, eat the basil from them and let them grow back in. Not all of these may survive but they all had great roots so I’m pretty sure many of these will. Next up I’m going to trim these and find a good spot for them to live. #gardening #SolarPunk #InfiniteBasil

Next up for reading. The AI Con by Emily M. Bender and Alex Hanna and then Resisting AI by Dan McQuillan.

On my walk today I was seeking an overgrown area to sit and enjoy a pipe and out of nowhere this little guy pops up like a random #DragonQuest encounter. We had a battle of wits i.e. staring contest (he was surprised as I think I very well could be the first human they’ve encountered) but in the end I acquiesced and took a different path. #Nature #LittleFriend
My wonderful partner framed more of my art prints that I’ve had for a while and never gotten around to. I have almost everything I’ve purchased over the years framed. The middle two are by Micah Ulrich and the two on the outside are by Jose Gabriel Alegría Sabogal. Now where to hang these… #Art #Esoteric
