I do wish that certain subreddits would lay off the constant chatter about End of Service for this or that game I'm playing. I know that nothing lasts forever, but please, let me enjoy it until then.

Hopefully, the internet is working again! Looks like a fault (or something broke) whilst systems are being updated in town, and more than a few of us started having outages.
Anyway, hopefully I'm back! Now, time to catch up...
@System32 It's looking like it was a problem at the exchange/somewhere in town, because everything is working again today. Thank goodness!
From what I can gather, they've been updating quite a bit of equipment, cabling, etc in the area, and it looks like they either broke something or found a fault. A site dedicated to outages showed other people were having trouble, too.
Either way, it's working again now, so it wasn't on our end.

I wonder when I got so timid. I used to be able to post my opinions up on social media without worries, and now I'm almost too scared to say too much, even here. Too worried about conflict.
Perhaps I've got too used to Twitter, where you have to be careful of anyone who might jump in and start haranguing you for liking the wrong kind of pancakes or something.
