I remember when it was a scandal that a company laid people off over Zoom. Now that seems warm and fuzzy compared to the norm today.

Due to my son's incautious, injudicious, unprotected sexual incontinence, I am raising one of his kids. You bet that evaporated milk, puddings, 1970s' music, 'Allo, Allo', walking to school and church are all playing big parts in the kid's upbringing. Also, love & consistency.
