if i was president of the world i would stop computers from progressing. i feel like 10 years ago things were already powerful enough. And ten years before that.

a few weeks ago i though well it's fine, ram prices are gonna come down eventually, right? now i'm just thinking that I need to cherish every piece of electronic i currently own because i will never ever be able to upgrade or replace anything ever again

i am not advocating for data centers to be nuked with tech company CEOs locked inside. Let's make it clear, i'm not advocating for that.
