Let me explain the tariffs with burgers.
If you live in USA and you a buy a product from China that previously costed one burger that will now cost 2.25 burgers. A representation can be seen on the photo.
If you a buy a product from any other country the teriffs are like Schrödinger's burgerbox. The burger (teriffs) may be considered to be simultaneously both in effect and not in effect while it is unobserved.
