Oh man. Just realized I have a back log of reviews to share. A few things wrapped up fast on me.
I should mention that we’re running a promotion at Pika right now. In celebration of our new background image feature, we’re offering 15% off the first year of Pika Pro with the code PIKACITIES (expires June 13). I mean, look at this good stuff!
Tiled Image Backgrounds and Why Blogging Rocks - Cartography

My first blog was about dirt biking, so there is a throughline here. Good Enough, creators of the blogging platform Pika, which you’re reading this on right now, have added an incredible “new” feature to their platform: tiled image backgrounds. If you’re old enough to remember the nascent aesthetics of the early web, Geocities and its kin, then you may look upon these tiled backgrounds in a bit of horror. But, if you’re anything like me, you may also look at them with some nostalgic relief, since they represent a time on the internet when no one really knew...

Someone in the neighborhood is playing the trombone some where. It’s making my grill pick up feel like a jaunty RPG village.

Easy going jam filled with Simpsons like tone between Mike and Jake. Unique sound on this roll back a few years.

Last night #Umphreys busted out “Yoga Pants” after 380 shows with a LTP on 11/2/19. The song is based off this 6/10/06 Jimmy Stewart which is one of my favorites of all time. (Plus major deserved attendance bias.)

Don’t miss Stasik’s harmonics on the jam opening.

American airports: "Take off your shoes! Is that water bottle empty?! I don't like the look of this nail file, buster!"

Switzerland: "Please feel free to purchase our iconic pocketknives right here inside the terminal."

I love the gold bricks in the #Lego Chysanthemum. (10368)
I know nothing about the game Figment. Though Nintendo should not allow the first and second installments individually for $1.99 each and the combo pack for $39.99 (https://www.nintendo.com/us/store/products/figment-1-plus-figment-2-switch/).
Told ya.
Oof… I did to much today… 😓

I really enjoyed this new to me take on Metroid. I would be interested in playing the other three plus Prime 4 coming soon to see what quality of life improvements are made. Sometimes the game really slowed down in areas like with the IR vision that dulled the fun where you felt over ran all the time. Areas seemed to be replayed and backed tracked again a little too much as well. Finished 94% because I missed a few boss scans and not worth it to track down simple missle upgrades.
@Brian The only Metroid Prime game I’ve played was 3 (“Corruption”) on the Wii. I enjoyed it. I should probably pick up this remaster at some point, and I’m sure I’ll end up grabbing 4 when it comes out.
