Am abandoning @openvibe.social . Gave it a good run but the app has too many quirks. If I get some free time maybe I'll do my own PRs to try to resolve some of them... but for now just going to pivot back to the official BSky app

MFA systems that refuse to work with VOIP SMS like Google Voice are the bane if my existence.

If you force SMS 2FA on your user's then at least FOR THE LOVE OF GOD allow them to use VOIP to make it at least marginally more secure.

Whenever you see someone on LinkedIn or other social media say "This was a lot of fun" in reference to a corperate blog, speaking engagement, or other such nonsense - imagine they are saying the word "fun" sarcastically while rolling their eyes, and it is more accurate.

I get frustrated about this debate for other reasons, the warped crusade against VPNs is what gets me frustrated.

I left @X because I just couldn't stand supporting Musk anymore.

But it had nothing to do with content or disinformation.

The amount of toxic disinformation I see on Bluesky daily is just as bad. It just has the opposite slant. Same level of biased nonsense though.

I really like how @dairyqueens.bsky.social let's you scan receipts AFTER purchase instead of mandating you place the order with the app. It's much more convenient. I wish other fast food places would take notice... *ahem*

Its always weird when you get a cold outreach, from a cold outreach company, trying to sell their outreach services - it's like a chicken and the egg. If they can't close a meeting with me based on their email, then they likely wouldn't have been able to close a meeting FOR me either.
