the sea is NOT blue because it reflects the sky. water is actually blue but only so slightly that it is only visible when present in vast quantities.
water can reflect other colors on its surface but that's due to its mirrory attritbutes when calm. rough sea is blue because water has a blue color.
also greeks didn't know it was blue because they didn't have the semantics yet. blue wasn't a word then, not a frequent color in nature, so.. sea was confusing.

Mozilla needs backup revenue asap and they have even spelled it out for everyone "the data that we share with our partners (which we need to do to make Firefox commercially viable)".
It's either that or no firefox. They should communicate why they do it. And why it's still a far better solution than using chrome instead.

this interview confirmed what i heard elsewhere. mozilla is on the brink of going broke due to google being pushed off it's search engine throne. duckduckgo has sued and they are winning and this has triggered a chain of events that overwhelms everyone.
mozilla HAS to sell data because that's what they had been doing all along by having google as their standard search engine.
the question if ai is really necessary to sort our mail stands unanswered. reassemble, mozilla.
