Waves, one of Craig Michael Smith's glass sculptures that I photographed at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley in Winchesrer, VA.
This is a glass sculpture, part of a glass garden that was on display at the Museum of the Shanendoah Valley this year. I found out about it just before it was taken down. The 30 glass flower and insect sculptures were the work of Craig Michael Smith. They were breathtaking. I got to photograph it twice, once in the afternoon and again in the early morning.
Molly poses for me. She is our new dog, just a year old. She was rescued as an abused puppy last spring. We adopted her in April, and she has become a good companion. She is a crossbreed but obviously mostly a sight hound, and she loves to run.
