The reviews were done by academics: epis, statisticians, biologists. Really need to start including env engineers in the mix. I wanted more detail on the process by which they evaluated the studies and their discussions as the writing is a bit sparse. But it is a refreshingly broad review of what worked!

Luckily, each of the working groups has also published their work in the Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society A! https://royalsocietypublishing.org/toc/rsta/2023/381/2257

Though in the conclusion they say RWE of ventilation shows it reduces viral particles, just not able to determine effects on transmission.
Mass testing seems to reduce incidence. Contact tracing studies were mixed and there seemed to be few studies on the impact of isolation, though isolating cases before results of tests seen as effective to reduce household transmission.
Generally seem to support the use of social distancing and lockdown to reduce transmission rate.
Studies about ventilation seem much less clear cut:

Royal Society have just published their report on the effectiveness of Non-Pharmaceutical Interventions in Covid.

The Royal Society’s programme on the impact of non-pharmaceutical interventions on Covid-19 transmission | Royal Society

The Royal Society has launched a new report investigating the evidence of the impact of non-pharmaceutical interventions (NPIs) on the transmission of the SARS-CoV-2 virus since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The panel discusses where medical misinformation flourishes and the role of alternative medicine in traditional care. Kind of surprising turn.

Sorry broke the thread...

Dr Cho speaks about the redflags of misinformation.

Discussion on the interaction between science and media. Richard Pazdur, FDA, asks whether media can tamp down on sensationalism.
Is the timeframe between science and the clinic creating distrust among the public. Interesting comment from Sylvia Cho of NCI.
