It's time for a silly Monday afternoon beat thing.
Last night, I sampled a bunch of sounds from a Perkins braillewriter and loaded them into my shiny new Ableton Move. Today, I made this silly thing with it, not actually using many of the samples, as it turns out.
7200 kHz is the frequency I listen to for
#HamRadio. It's been quite interesting tonight, with different discussions, random stuff, arguments, and everything in between. We've also got our main operator, Oris and a few other people.
Lastly, from what I've heard the battery life can be short on this radio, probably because of the TEF6686 chip, but I haven't seen how long it lasts for. Later on, I will tell you how long the battery lasts. (2/2)
Also, the telescopic antenna is short, which may affect some use of it. Connecting to an external antenna might be beneficial for this receiver. If you're using the telescopic antenna and you're listening to Shortwave, do not put your radio on the floor or the table, or even on the bed. Make sure you hold the radio. If you don't, you won't hear anything because of how short it is. (1/2)
Today I tried out the qodosen dx-286 that was delivered yesterday. Here are a few things to know about this. First of all, it has a powerful TEF6686 car chip, which makes it very sensitive to weaker signals, especially on FM, which is good because I like to DX FM. But this powerful chip would work with any of the other bands. A few things I don't like, there's no single side band, which is crucial to some signals on Shortwave and longwave. It also stops at 27 MHz, instead of the 10 m band.
Good morning. The stuff that I ordered on Amazon for prime day arrived last night. I got the QODOSEN DX286 radio, which has FM, AM and Shortwave. From what I've heard of this radio has a very sensitive chip on the radio, which is good for picking up weaker signals, which is good for me because I DX FM, and all the other bands. Lastly, I got a Hercules DJControl Mix DJ controller, which is a Bluetooth DJ controller that works with the Djay app, which I use because it's accessible with VoiceOver.

@jscholes It would be nice if you could export favorites. I also believe that the way that you archive mastodon data is not really the best. Some posts and comments should be in some more easier format like HTML, and the media attachments directory shouldn't have one folder of another folder and another folder to get to the file.
I was sick of speeding drivers bombing down our street. Solution is to keep putting flowers on the lamppost outside of my house. Amazing how effective it is at slowing down the fuckers.
