⚡️⚡️⚡️Attention radio nerds! ⚡️⚡️⚡️

Made some US Frequency Allocation chart T-shirts. Inspired by the NTIA’s insanely beautiful chart showing how the US radio spectrum is sliced up. It’s one of my favorite things that the US government publishes.

Unisex, Light and dark versions with two options: logo on front pocket and chart on back / chart on front

Something I have wanted to do since launching this project, was make some cool merch featuring the most unique visuals from the government records in my stories. Launching an Etsy storefront with two designs. One is some beautiful schematics from the incredible, tragic Mirror Fusion Test Facility at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories. The other is a "multichannel system diagram" from a 1987 Army Field Manual. Unisex tees in light and dark versions. https://www.etsy.com/shop/BeautifulPublicData?ref=mast
I have a shorter version of my FAA flight charts story in the May / June issue of MIT @techreview. Always love seeing this stuff in print!

Here's Dolphin SMR058. Photographed on Jan. 8, 2018 at 34.436830, -77.518370.

Scars, scratches and wounds abound in these photos as encounters with unknown creatures and boat propellers leave their marks, imprinting a story of close escapes and cheating death.

Wow. The U.S. Coast Guard and the Atomic Energy Commission experimented with an ATOMIC LIGHTHOUSE, placing a small nuclear reactor (RTG) in the Baltimore Harbor Lighthouse in 1964. It was tested for a year then removed. https://media.defense.gov/2023/Jun/23/2003247012/-1/-1/0/ATOMICLIGHTHOUSE.PDF
