Progressing on that handsome devil 😈
Despite my "death by Farfadets de Limoges", I've managed to attain this stage in my #GDQuest journey! I haven't done the animated background, but studying the ship allowed me to familiarize with concepts such as vector manipulation and linear interpolation (among things such as Godot's interface, principles, and language).
I'll revisit those lessons later as I still wouldn't be able to redo their content without guidance, but so far it's all really interesting!
Vectors.... Vectors want my death. I suck at maths, my neurons are being assaulted by learning Godot!
(But I kinda start to understand stuff!)
How do programmers master all that?! Do they have some kind of math Hogwarts they go to while mocking our puny non-math muggle brains? Or is it like the Matrix and they get injected with eldritch math mastery directly into their brains?
Normalizing vectors, linear interpolation... forbidden... knowledge [tears of blood slowly rolling down my cheeks]
My noob self made an object move in Godot! Yaaaaay! And I'm starting to understand stuff!
I like how game dev makes maths principles palatable. I wish I learned maths this way! (I *really* suck at maths).
