Not the prettiest photo but I made Christmas cake which will still have time to be fed a few times before Christmas🤪
I used a couple of Panettone cases to ensure it didn't get burnt with the long baking time (the outer one will be reused),
I like to add some Italian Blood Orange Extract which makes the whole house smell divine 😋

Italian Blood Orange Extract

Essential Oil of Italian blood oranges is made only from high quality Italian blood oranges and contains no bulking agents, and so is much stronger than even the best supermarket versions. Blood orange is a little sweeter and floral than oranges. Available in 100mL glass bottles or 1L plastic bottles for commercial bakers. Baking expert, Dan Lepard, says, "Excellent used to flavour a simple sugar glaze on blood orange tarts, rich caramels, and butterscotch."

Aroma Panettone Essential Oil

The traditional panettone has an unusual flavour that requires these essential oils in order to have an authentic taste. When used in the dough alongside good quality candied peel the result will have a powerful sweet citrus flavour and fragrance.

Made a couple of batches of blistery brown malted sourdough using Nuttimalt and Nut-Brown Malt flour.
The dough was caramel in colour and smelt almost as good as the baked breads😍

Dark Malt Focaccia - Supercharge Your Focaccia

This malted focaccia is relatively easy to make by hand but super-easy with a machine. Here I mixed this in the Ankarsrum Assistent mixer.

Faith has been trying out our Molino Bongermino Lievitati (long ferment) flour which gives you a longer window of opportunity for when you can bake your dough.
She mixed it with Molino Bongermino Spelt (Farro) which gave great taste and texture.
Two 500g's and a 1kg breads were made and pretty much devoured by the family showing up just as she finished baking 😆
