@Holberg we did the math, it was cheaper to fly to Europe and stay for a month than do a week in Disneyland.
@MattHatton “regretfully”

I've seen so many like me who are over the moon about sending people over the moon.

I've also seen people who are meh about it, and even a few who hate it.

This is fine, whatevs, I don't get it but I've loved space since I was a toddler.

What is not fine is lashing out at those of us who are enthused. For some of us, it's a symbol of hope, something good, in this dark world right now. You don't like it? Fine. You don't like that we like it? Find a cork and stuff it. Don't yuck our yum.

Let people enjoy things. (Unless they enjoy harming others, in which case Houston, we have a problem.)

The reason why the Artemis mission has everyone so fascinated is because it is a showcase for the efforts of people who are very, very good at their jobs, at a time when the news cycle is dominated by people who are not merely terrible at their jobs, but awful human beings as well.
@jack_daniel I treat a margarita as a cocktail, a lot of places treat it like a slushie with a shot or two poured in. They are not the same.
@davidrevoy nicely done! Works great on mobile.

This was one of the most amazing things I saw at the Seattle Asian Art Museum recently—this cube of intricately cut metal, lit from within, that turned the whole room into an artistic interplay of darkness and light. Casting all the visitors into the installation; shadows on the walls.

@Basmitharts Porsche killing the gas 718 was the strangest decision. I’d love to see the boardroom math on that one.
@MattHatton it’s fantastic marketing and news is EATING it up
