The 11th annual Bloomington Pridefest is taking place Saturday, August 23rd. Thousands will gather on Kirkwood Avenue to celebrate LGBTQ+ lives, joy, and the fight for inclusivity.

As a community-rooted cybersecurity conference, BSides Bloomington proudly supports LGBTQ+ inclusion and activism.

BSides Bloomington returns September 26–27, and we’re looking for speakers to help us explore this year’s theme:

“From Roots to Revolution: Building an Inclusive & Activist Cyber Future.”

We’re looking for talks that highlight community-driven innovation. This year, we invite speakers to reflect on the past, address today’s pressing challenges, and envision bold, forward-thinking futures for cybersecurity through the lens of activism, inclusion, digital rights, and technological progress.

15-minute flash talks (great for newcomers!)

50-minute sessions

80-minute deep dives or workshops
