With Halide Mark III, we rebuilt our image processing engine to take full advantage of the iPhone camera sensor's native gamut and dynamic range. We partnered with a renowned Hollywood colorist to develop a set of amazing looks, each with a specific intent.
Enough words, here's photos!
We're excited to announce that after 18-months of development, Halide Mark III is now available!

We are excited to launch Halide Mark III a massive upgrade to our groundbreaking camera app. We developed Mark III with three goals. 1. The most beautiful photos that can come from an iPhone. 2. "Batteries Included." You don't need to download any other app. 3. A streamlined user experience

After yesterday’s #Vernissage release, we’re not slowing down 😊 Today, version 1.5.0 of the iOS client is now available on the App Store.
This update introduces grouped notifications for selected notification types, along with several bug fixes and improvements.
Thank you for all your feedback, support, and help - we truly appreciate it! 🤩

Some fun #Vernissage coding stats:
⚙️ API - 70,649 lines of code (892 commits)
📱 iOS - 20,781 lines of code (87 commits)
🌍 Web - 18,000 lines of TypeScript, 8,191 lines of HTML, and 3,098 lines of SCSS (882 commits)
That’s a total of 120,719 lines of code 😅
The first commit landed on May 29, 2023 - almost exactly 3 years ago. The first photo was published via Vernissage on Nov 2, 2023.
At this point… this is no longer “just a side project.” It’s a seriously chunky app now 🫣
Next on the roadmap for Vernissage are multi-language support (starting with the Web/Angular app), additional bug fixes, and Push Notifications support for the iOS app. 🚀
I’d also like to remind everyone that translations are waiting for community review and verification.
Special thanks to @geobomatic for reviewing the French translation - especially knowing how many strings are involved. Your help is greatly appreciated! 😊
Vernissage 1.38.0 is now available! 🎉
This release introduces create/announce support for user inboxes with visibility validations, a new QuietPublic visibility type on status, and an antiflood mechanism with configurable parameters. It also fixes remote comment notifications, case-insensitive status search, and image rotation issues during small image generation from ActivityPub imports.
Thank you for all your feedback and support! 🤩
