In celebration of Poem in Your Pocket Day #PocketPoem
The poem I've had in 'my pocket' for the past year is Emma Lazarus's "The New Colossus." Nearly 200 years old, I found it's creative energy lit me up.
1st it became an image, then patch worn to No Kings, finally a song.
Not protest music, more like a reclamation. A reminder, the future we want already has blueprints.
