@rmondello After Elon Musk took over and things went south, I have removed myself from Twitter. Facebook will be harder, because family and friends use that much more than they did Twitter. 2FA makes things so much more complicated, especially if you have dozens of applications. When you switch between platforms (iOS and Android for example), it becomes a nightmare.
@heatherackmann maybe we have our wires crossed here (from when phone operators were still physically moving wires to connect you to that elderly relative). No, no more landline for me. Now, my elderly 95-year old aunt still has one - with a wireless handset mind you. I have been trying to convert her to a smartphone, but to no avail.

@rbreich But government stepping in to clean up the mess seems to be off the table. The Europeans are not wrong when they claim that the US (companies) are profiteering off the Ukrainean war. Although there was a whisper that Biden felt that should stop, I haven't heard anything more than that. It is really running out already bad reputation in Europe even further into the ground.
