I tried to write a book for most of my life then, on a trip to Scotland, I began writing 'THE FIRE TREE' & the words just poured onto the page until I'd written 720,000 of them!
After the first 25,000 words, my characters took over & I just became a passenger on the journey to completion.
I ended up with 4 huge books, which I split into 6, then 8, then - eventually - no less than 11 volumes!
