Some infrared snapshots I took today of the Sisters of St Joseph convent. I see a sister there for spiritual direction (I’m not Catholic, but not many Protestant churches offer this). It was a beautiful day, and the early 20th century architecture looked grand.

My daughter’s grey furball, Thor, from 2017. He was pretty darn cute. He still can be, especially when he snuggles between my wife and me in bed and wheezes in his sleep.
It still breaks my brain a bit that I took these shots on a warm May evening, not in January. Infrared is weird. Cool, but weird.
First is faux color balanced on the street, and the second is monochrome straight out of the camera.

The Erie Canal on a gorgeous day at golden hour, taken east of #RochesterNY. I shot this ten years ago on a bike ride with my little PowerShot G15 that travelled with me everywhere. Cargo pants rock. 😏
