Obligatory “I’m not on Threads” post. I don’t post here often, but there are people here I’d like to keep up with. BlueSky seems to fit the vibe I’m looking for at the moment, so I’ll probably be most active there, but the lights will still be on in here.
I finally picked up Toonami’s first original IP since Sand Whale And Me, Fena: Pirate Princess, on Blu-ray! This is the Japanese Blu-ray, so I’m pretty sure this doesn’t come with the dub or any subs, but I can slap those on myself later. Ideally, I’d like to have every Toonami original on Blu-ray.

However you feel about that type of content, a general reminder that banning it basically brought down Tumblr. Got to be super careful with that particular topic and handle it with nuance but that doesn’t seem to be happening.

#spoutible for like 5 minutes… I don’t think it’s gonna work out. Of all the competitors, it makes the worst first impression. Mastodon continues to look the most viable for me… but they’ve got to make it easier to find people. I’m still relying on Twitter to find old friends who are in this platform.

I’m more pondering if the younger generation is going to have to adapt to the older methods or will businesses and workforces change to accommodate the young.
That said, knowing basic keyboard commands and being looked at like I just cast an ancient spell from the Dead Sea Scrolls makes me feel old.
I genuinely don’t know if it’s a bad thing. Phones can do a lot nowadays and there are potential industries that really don’t need a typical laptop/desktop workflow, but there are so many other industries I can’t imagine being done any other way.
