Ok. Someone finally came up. Not posting his picture cuz dude is hourly wage and none of this is on him. He gave me a beer and explained they are working two bars. Guess I don’t have to push the limits today. Anyway, capitalism is failing us actively, workers are treated terribly, and we all need to do better in our own way. You are not winning if all you care about is profit.
I think the “Gavi” restaurant in the background employs the same people. But no one has come yet. Maybe I pour a beer and see what happens?

At the Houston airport right now. In a bar that is the equivalent of a ghost kitchen. (Google it if you don’t know the term). It has all the branding and trappings of a bar, but no one actually works here. Forced to order through a stupid QR code and seven minutes later someone walks over from another ghost kitchen to serve me. Then promptly disappears. Think I might just go behind the counter and serve myself, because fuck capitalism.
