Journalist Moamen Abu Odeh wrote that the ceasefire agreement remains extremely fragile, collapsing at the first real test, and weakened further by guarantors who side with the stronger party while overlooking violations and civilian suffering.
He questioned how any agreement can survive when those responsible for protecting it show clear bias toward the party holding power and weapons, leaving vulnerable communities without meaningful guarantees.
Abu Odeh added that, despite this fragility, Gazans cling to any brief moment of calm, as it may mean a life saved, a home spared, or a rare night without shelling.
