Happy #digimon day to those that celebrate
One programming challenge that's always eluded me has been learning #assembly. It's always been just a bit too difficult for me. Yesterday I sat down and gave it another try, and I actually got something!
For my first non-tutorial bit of code, I wrote a function that calculate the modulo of two numbers.
You can see here that I'm finding 41 % 7, which gives the answer 6. After running, you can see these three numbers in the first three bytes of memory.

Today on: fighting my anxiety
I made some European style bread for the first time using a modified version of my peasant bread recipe, and it came out great!
Also practicing my leaf #embroidery. All three of are freehanded, and I think they came out pretty well. Each leaf is a different stitch type. Fly, fishbone, and leaf stitches, respectively.
I know it's clickbait, but this got me seething. Like, first of all, I have no doubt scientists know full well that it's climate change. It's almost fucking 90 degrees F in Ohio in April. But god forbid the NYT doesn't get their clicks while also framing scientists as idiots. Second of all, I'm so sick of all news stations, local or not, taking a complete head-in-the-sand approach to the climate crisis. "Huh, what an unseasonably warm spring we're having. Isn't that great, folks!" Like, please, just fucking say it. Say that we're experiencing climate change. Say that the weather is getting dangerous. I am begging you to incite panic.
I am very tired.
