Here’s one of my fav objects in the whole place - the capsule of Apollo 10 that orbited the moon in 1969. I’m old enough to remember when it arrived at the museum from America in the 1970s and my mum taking me as a school boy to see it. I was mad on space. Still am. #space #science #Apollo

For today’s #StandingStoneSunday here’s yours truly at the Callanish Stones on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland from last October. An amazing stone circle that was set up between 2900 and 2600BC. One version of folklore has it they are petrified giants who refused to convert to Christianity. #neolithic #isleoflewis #scotland #outerhebrides
