Hi. I love reading, restaurants, playing the flute, hot tubbing and being a career woman! I am happily single and joyfully childfree. I used to love following and discussing politics, but now I don't. I'm part of the 92% of black women who did the right thing in 2024. You all will have to dig us out of this mess because we are done saving America. My favorite color is purple. My favorite flower is the tulip.

It's good to see white people fighting against their own oppression right now in the US. Too bad they couldn't do it before when black women tried to tell them what it was like and they ignored us. I hope white people have learned something about voting to harm other people...it usually comes back to harm you too. Maybe show empathy PROACTIVELY next time. Hands off! ✊🏾
We are not going to save you. You burned your own houses down on November 5th when you tried to hurt black people, immigrants, LGBTQ+, women, etc. Own your vote. But there is still time to fix it. You can still put the fire out. Extinguish it with YOUR resistance. 💯
Everything got too heavy for me to carry this week, so I spent some time at the lake, swinging on a park bench and taking pictures of my boots in the snow and of birds in flight. It worked! Life feels good again. I just had to B-R-E-A-T-H-E. 🌷
