@rolle AI is a good servant but a bad master. Pros are still needed for all fields of profession. From past decades as tech is evolved, I remember when internet started to be common for wide audience there was discussions about Information reading skills. Now we shoud widen that for information production and ethics skills.

For me as a multidiciplinary engineer, I follow with Rolle’s notations. As a contruction engineer we use AI in company where I am working on, but with common sense and fon tasks where we can acheive e.g. more value for our customers. Every query has to be well formed and feedback punctually audited. AI will not replace us, human factor is needed always.

As a neuro divergent person, AI has bring me a tool, to get started especially when sensory overwealm is throwing sand in gears. It can do booring repeatitive task for me, preventing events that can lead meltdowns and burnouts. However in every phase human factor and professional skills are needed. Every response need to be audited skillfully.

It bugs me every time someone non-technical, from a completely different line of work, says you no longer need to learn to code because you can "build" an app, website, or server in minutes with AI. Nobody performs chiropractic neck manipulations based on AI tips, nobody does professional construction work, or performs surgery with AI... right? (At least, I hope not.) And people usually understand that. So why can't they grasp that you still need to be a professional and actually know what you're doing, with or without an AI? You wouldn't tell a friend to "just do it" when they a) have no idea what you’re asking, and b) don't know how to do it.

Every line of code is a liability. It's a dangerous world right now, with people mindlessly throwing more and more junk online. Everyone will get hacked eventually.

@magdalenahai vielä tulee se hetki, jolloin heidän rajattu puutarhansa roihahtaa. Voittokulku ja kasvu ei ole loputonta.
