Polaroid is flogging its 3x3 instant printer. The printer includes a frame to pop in a print. Not sure if this is a custom Zink printer or not, no specs found. It is not Polaroid instant film. Zink uses dye embedded in the paper to make the image. These printers connect via Bluetooth. They also make the Lab Printer, which projects the screen of a phone onto Polaroid instant film.

Fujifilm makes printers that use Instax instant film, one for each of three sizes of Instax.

While browsing around the web, found a reference to New55, the 4x5 peel-apart film. The Kickstarter in 2014 succeeded, but losing access to the pod-making machine ended the project. The LomoGraflok is currently the only 4x5 instant film solution, on Instax Wide film. #believeinfilm

This is unusual. Not entirely film related, but a student has created a site for landscape photographers that helps to predict light conditions in your area. Completely free, no login, no ads. For astrophotography, it can be tricky to get the moon, clear skies and weather to line up. Not every sunrise or sunset is the best. This looks like another tool for planning.

I did not even know what it was. Portra and TMax, supposedly. Ektapan P3200 was one tip-off. Confusopoly at work? Some online retailers list availability as Friday. #believeinfilm

Pinhole Mania! PetaPixel points out a successful Kickstarter that has now gone into production for the general public. Ralph Man is hand building a modular pinhole camera system for medium format and 4x5 film. Read the instructions before purchasing.
The ManiaPinhole site is in German, click the translate button in your browser, if necessary. Click the menu (three dots), then Instructions. There are PDFs in German and English, pick as needed.

Grainery is an app with desktop and mobile apps for sharing film photography. Camera, film stock and lens are recorded so that others can compare results. It is a one-man operation that claims to be completely user supported. No ads or selling data.

Not an endorsement, as Your Blogger is neither affiliated with nor a user of the site. Would be interested in comments from users of the site though.

CineStill Film is carrying even more film direct from Kodak, now including Tri-X and Ektar. The venerable films are in similar packaging to Kodak Gold 100 and 200. Maybe at a slight discount. #believeinfilm
