I just got accepted into #Granta's "Writing Literary Short Fiction" Workshop taught by Eley Williams, which I'm excited about. Does anyone here have experience with Granta's workshops? Would you mind sharing the experience?
Our adventures in having a passover seder in Spain have yielded some great moments. No matzo, but our Colombian asistente understood the assignment and made unleavened arepas (BRILLIANT). Sephardic haroset beats ashkenazi haroset by a mile. And this is the year our kids held us to 4 entire cups of grapes juice so things got pretty crazy. (They also negociated like sharks once they found the afikomen). All in all? BEST SEDER EVER
Bucket list moment yesterday
I'm enjoying the @bookstodon.thestorygraph.com #JanuaryPagesChallenge a lot this year. Something about making sure I attend to reading (my favorite form of self-care) every day has been really nice.
