His bronco was a part of him - they were one entity as they moved. One was an extension of the other.
Atop his saddle, he glanced at townsfolk and softly considered their antiquated ways. It was his fault: he couldn’t pass without pitying their doom.
Such was fate for man who knew “yet to be.” His future vision was not clouded, but the past would never be clear.

I took my boys to their new, big-city #library yesterday. They both got their own library cards, and were SOOOOO excited. For context, in our old small town of 1300 people, we didn’t need cards; all the librarians knew us by name.
It was a very proud Dad Moment for me.

First week of Inservice at the new position: done!
Feeling pretty good about everything. I think the change in curriculum from my old job to this one won’t be as painful as I originally feared.
My classroom was completed devoid of everything, though. I’ve got some sprucing up to do this next week and a half before kiddos arrive!
