I am excited for this extra large bed to finally be ready. It was covered for almost a year to kill the weeds, and yesterday we enriched the soil with a heavy layer of compost.
I am excited for this extra large bed to finally be ready. It was covered for almost a year to kill the weeds, and yesterday we enriched the soil with a heavy layer of compost.
Another year, another step forward on the plots! This morning, we added three large no-dig beds and laid down fresh paths. Beneath the beds, layers of cardboard will help suppress weeds, while the paths are lined with an eco-friendly fabric made from hemp and sugar PLA. Slow but steady progress!
