Just deleted my Substack account, should have done it much sooner. It's a little bittersweet, there is a lot of good writing among the right-wing, Nazi garbage. The real tragedy is that none of my subscriptions were paid, so no one will miss me. Money talks, and since none was on the line, nobody will hear me. I feel better, anyway. #substack #nazis #socialmedia

I'd not stop anyone from making nazi bumper stickers, because I am opposed to censorship; but I will not put one on my car, because I'm opposed to nazis.

Censorship is preventing someone else from publishing their views. Simply opting not to host, republish, and redistribute abhorrent views is not the same as censorship.

Avoiding censorship does not hold water as an excuse.
