Honestly the internet today sucks. Big tech and government track every move. Content is written for search engine algorithms and users are just there to click on ads. Everything gets more centralized and controlled and next up is the #metaverse hype in an attempt to addict users even more to those services. Am I the only one getting depressed about the way we're heading?

I hate typing on touchscreens. For years, this was a non-issue since I had a BlackBerry Classic. After moving to a more modern phone (first a Moto e6, then a Teracube 2e), I wanted a solution that would make it easier to see and respond to SMS on my computer and larger tablet. I settled on JMP, which connects a number to an XMPP account, and wrote about my experience.
